Westminster’s annual Neighbors Helping Neighbors Town Benefit Day is coming up on Sunday, August 10, and it’s always one of my favorite days of the year! You do not need to live in Westminster to participate. All proceeds from this annual event go to the Westminster Benefit Fund, which is a non-profit with the sole purpose to help Westminster residents in crisis situations beyond their control. I can’t write the story of the day better than the hardworking group that works year round on it~~so here’s what they posted on the Neighbors Helping Neighbors Facebook page. We’re celebrating almost FOUR DECADES of neighbors helping neighbors 
and we need YOUR help to keep the magic alive 
We’re now collecting donations for:
Chinese Auction (items valued under $100)
Over the Top Auction (items $100+)
Gift certificates, handmade items, sporting or concert tickets, cool new stuff — we’ll take it! 
Donations can be dropped off at the Westminster Police Station through Friday, August 1st, or we’ll pick them up — just call or text one of us
