Wachusett Garden Club Annual Plant Sale is Saturday, May 10, 2025

Coneflower Wachusett Garden Club

The Wachusett Garden Club Annual Plant Sale, held at the Thomas Prince School on Saturday, May 10, features a wide variety of beautiful plants generously donated by our members and friends. You’ll find an assortment of perennials, shrubs, herbs, houseplants, and vegetable plants—perfect for both sunny and shady spots. The best part? These plants were grown right here, so they’re well-suited for our local climate and will thrive in your yard and home!

The sale will take place rain or shine, and we’re accepting cash and checks only. With Mother’s Day just around the corner, it’s a wonderful opportunity to pick up a thoughtful gift for that special person in your life.

We will also be offering complimentary pH soil testing at our event. Drop off a sample and get your results — and expert soil advice — while you shop!

Here’s how to prepare your sample:

Dig about ½ cup of soil from 4–6 inches below the surface.  Take samples from one or two spots within the same garden area. Place the soil in a sandwich-sized plastic bag. Label the bag with your name and the specific garden area (e.g., “veggie garden” or “front yard perennials”). Leave the bag open until you arrive at the sale. Feel free to bring up to 2 or 3 samples from different areas of your yard or garden.

All proceeds benefit community projects, including educational initiatives with the Thomas Prince School, the nature trail, and the upkeep of the Veteran’s Memorial Garden on the Princeton Common. Click here to explore becoming a member of the Wachusett Garden Club.
