I did not see this coming—I went to the Massachusetts Association of Realtors annual conference in Springfield thinking I was there to support a friend who had been nominated for something!
It seems everyone but me knew I was getting this award. I’m over the moon having been the ONE recipient (there are 26,000 realtors in Massachusetts!) of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors Good Neighbor Award for Volunteerism.
They called out my volunteer efforts in the areas of education, housing and food insecurity AND handed me a check for $1,500 as a donation to the Ashburnham Westminster Foundation for Academic Excellence. I’m very happy I can devote the time to causes that are important to me, and appreciate the spotlight on those organizations!
