I recently hired Sam Peoples and Alex Gonzalez of Scenic Scapes Lawn Care & Landscape after spotting their display at Fidelity Bank in Princeton, and I’m really glad I did. I liked that their display was so professional and they appeared so motivated, which is refreshing to see in their generation, to be honest. I’m always happy to give a new business a try, and I almost immediately reached out to them. I actually waited to write the review in order to give them time to graduate high school. 🙂
Alex and Sam at Scenic Scapes were both responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable about what I needed for my property. We have a field that had an out-of-control mass of saplings, vines and the dreaded invasive bittersweet. Having them make that mess disappear was the best thing. Jay and I make some progress on it every year, but it always grows back as a bigger problem. Worse, we now live next to the very tidy Rattle Root Farm (an organic CSA), and that corner of our property looked like a really bad hairball. It even interfered with the sight lines for people coming and going from the farm.
Working with Alex and Sam was so easy. They were on time, worked efficiently, and left everything looking great. I really liked that Alex said they found rocks in the overgrowth and that he set them on the stone wall in places that looked like they needed them. It was just a little thing, but I appreciated the extra effort. They could have just as easily left me with a pile of rocks.
I also liked that they use a professional system for scheduling and billing. They offer a wide range of services—so people can rely on them year-round, whether it’s mowing, landscape design, or even snow removal come winter.
Scenic Scapes made the whole process smooth, and of course once we saw how efficiently they worked, we looked around to see what else we could have them do–so their next project was clearing the side of our driveway, another out-of-control area. I would absolutely recommend them if you, too, have a hairball of out-of-control saplings and vines like we did, if you’re looking to upgrade your outdoor spaces or just keep your yard looking sharp.
I like seeing Scenic Scapes signs popping up on lawns—clearly, I’m not the only one who’s had a great experience. There’s something about seeing those signs on well-maintained properties that reinforces the fact that they’re becoming a trusted name in the area.
I’ve since referred Scenic Scapes Lawn Care & Landscape to several of my clients, and the feedback has been consistently positive. They’ve helped prep homes for listing with yard cleanup to enhance curb appeal.
I’ve also had out-of-town sellers rely on them for regular upkeep, and the experience has been seamless.
Sam and Alex are easy to communicate with and take direction well, which makes a big difference when coordinating projects from a distance. It’s clear they understand the importance of first impressions in real estate, and they deliver every time. Highly recommend!
