I love tattoos—in some cases they’re like works of art! Just not on me, ever. Just going from what I’ve seen, at least 4 of my 6 kids have tattoos, and Jane or Erin could surprise me and I might have to edit this story.
Our most noteworthy family tattoo is that one of the kids has a tattoo of Salvador Dali’s face on his arm, and Salvador has appeared as a suggested person to tag in some of our family photos.
I remember when I was dating my husband when he was renting a waterfront cottage in a kind of camping area of Ashburnham – – there was a little kid with a tattoo, which does seem to cross some kind of line. This guy couldn’t have been more than eight years old, and it was real. It was also real homemade looking. Which gets me to thinking maybe as an adult he wouldn’t want that tattoo.
I recently saw somebody posted on Facebook a request for recommendations for a removal of a tattoo where it seems the tattoo may have outlived the relationship.
And who here isn’t thinking of Bart Simpson‘s tattoo issue?
Maybe someday my old wrinkly self will regret not having any tattoos, but if you struggle in the other direction – – I’ve put together this list of professionals to consider if you’re looking to have any of your tats disguised or removed. I have no personal connection to any of the names below, nor do I have any experience with them. Do your own research, and when it comes to tattoo application or removal, I suggest you do not try it at home. So, if you have tattoo regret, there might be a fix for that!
