Favorite Ocean Beaches

I have so many memories of my teenage years of going to Hampton Beach. They were the best times— laying in the sun all day, the arcade, the cheesy souvenir shops and fried dough. Also, I’ve never been back as an adult. I do like cranes Beach in Ipswich and one of my favorite places that just happens to have a beach is Newport Rhode Island.

I asked some friends and readers to tell me their favorite ocean beaches within reasonable driving distance, and the list below is based on feedback received. Am I missing anything–or do you like to keep your favorite beaches a secret?
