“I grew up in Leominster, and once I graduated from college, I worked as a graphic designer. I would drive into Waltham every day, and somewhere along that long commute, the first threads of a story took hold.
It wasn’t until 30 years later, when COVID hit and I was furloughed, that I had the chance to bring it to life. With a lot of time on my hands, I wanted to do something creative other than design. That’s when I finally sat down and wrote the story that had been following me all those years. That story became A Brief Moment in Time.”

A Brief Moment in Time (Thriller, 2026)
A Brief Moment in Time is set in Leominster in the 1990s. The book follows Jen Brooks, who knew one thing: She didn’t want to end up like her mother — resentful, angry, and working at a dead-end job in the same small town she grew up in. When she lands an office job in Boston, Jen naively starts planning her thrilling new life. Excitement soon turns to fear, however, after she sees her employers commit a horrific act. Unsure of what to believe or who to trust, Jen begins plotting her resignation only to discover that leaving this job is not an option and any move could be her last.
In the Works
I’m currently working on my next novel, which I’m hoping to release next year. It’s about a woman who gets into a car accident and wakes up with partial amnesia. As she tries to piece together what happened and make sense of her missing memories, she begins to believe that someone is trying to kill her.
