Newsletter Introduction: August 2026

My August 2026 newsletter has the usual grab bag – here’s a quick rundown: First jobs, worst jobs – I’ve had several I never want to repeat, and I want to hear yours. Labor Day Tennis is here, if you’re in Princeton– sign up (links in the story) and grab your merchandise. Westminster’s Neighbors Helping Neighbors is this Sunday, 8/9 – one of my favorite days, and I look forward to seeing you there. I’ll be taking attendance. LOL. The VFW Ladies Auxiliary has an easy downtown Westminster donation bin for clothing and household goods which are sold to benefit local veterans. Speaking of the VFW, help me support Tyler Careau’s Eagle Scout project – a permanent pavilion at the VFW field honoring local veterans.

Princeton’s Annual Block Party is coming up – find me there for real estate talk, car wash giveaways, the Princeton Business Association, and a first look at the tennis merch. My dogs got quilled again, so I’ve included an emergency vet resource list. I’m also talking about real estate market craziness from this past month, and sharing links to Princeton’s new emergency alert sign-up.

Ever tried peach and halloumi salad? Me neither, until now –never even heard of halloumi– and it’s delicious. Resource-wise: Summer and Fall Fairs, School Calendars and Bus Routes (it’s that time again), and Rattle Root Farm’s Saturday Markets. Last month’s most popular stories: I needed to hire an organizer, and I really do make the best chicken salad.

On the listings front, I’ve got a great three-family coming up – perfect for anyone eyeing real estate investing, easily owner-occupied with one vacant unit and two long-term tenants paying on time at close to market rent. Westminster new construction with a great view and an adorable cape in Princeton if it doesn’t get scooped up off-market before it’s listed. Thanks as always for reading and sharing what you want more of!

New to my newsletter? I recommend reading all the way to the bottom where I will put a big THE END, SO that you will know you’ve reached the end of this month’s newsletter. Some email services clip newsletters after a certain length, so you might have to click on a button that says CONTINUE READING or something like that.

I have a goal this year of 100 Google reviews, and I’m at 87! If we’ve ever worked together, or if my newsletter has taught you something, inspired you to think differently, or just helped you as any kind of resource~~great news, you qualify to write a review. Here’s a link to my reviews where you’ll find the WRITE A REVIEW button. If not yet, then just keep reading every month, be a background fan, tell your friends, share my stories, or whatever works for you. Here’s to Spring!

If you’ve found value in this newsletter, or if one of my resource stories, town guides, or even the magnet on your fridge has ever helped you, I’d be so grateful if you’d pass my contact details along with your personal recommendation.

When someone you care about is thinking of making a move, or simply wondering what their home might be worth, I’m always here to offer grounded perspective and local insight. No pressure. No scripts. Just help when it’s needed. My business grows through kindness, trust, and people like you who believe in community. Thank you for being part of that.
