Check out these beautiful custom cookies! I recently had some people over for dinner, which I’m trying to get better at doing. Jay said if we want to get invited to people’s houses, we also have to be social and invite people over, which I did a few weeks ago. I provided the main course – – it was an impromptu soup fest with four kinds of soup plus chili, and a very loaded baked potato bar. It was a lot of fun. When guests asked what they could bring, I just said an app or dessert, your choice. Or bring nothing, just yourself.
A new friend brought the beautiful and sparkly cookies pictured above. I was curious, and asked her where she got them! She casually said she made them herself. *Also, they smelled magical–like maple syrup. I sure don’t have that talent, and when I posted the photo on my Facebook, it appears none of my other friends have this kind of talent either. Since you know I love taking cooking classes, I wonder if any of you are interested in a group cookie making class – – I’m thinking to do it in February.
