Newsletter Introduction: October 2025

Newsletter Introduction Newport RI

I spent too much time writing stories, and now I’m up against a deadline with no introduction! So I’ll make it somewhat short and sweet! I just realized this month marks 12 years that I’ve been selling houses. My first closing was on Halloween, and it was such a scary transaction. I knew absolutely nothing about what I was doing, so that didn’t help. Funny how times change–this was a beautiful home in Westminster that was bank owned and was selling for $400,000. That seemed like so much money for a house at that time. I stay in touch with those wonderful buyers who are also sellers, because they were one of those first few clients who trusted me and I will never forget them. They also now live in a house that’s worth twice what they paid, so they probably remember it fondly, too!

Tons of stories for you in this issue, so many I don’t even know where to start! Lots of small business promotion – – Secondhand Summit (a new retail and service establishment in Princeton), making The Vice your coffee spot in the morning with a special treat from me for clients and referral sources, my hairstylist gives the best advice in her videos, A Night for Excellence to be held at Wachusett Mountain, promoting a Spartan 5k Obstacle Race at Fenway Park to find a scholarship in memory of an awesome Westminster man who died too young, Princeton Helping Princeton with 31 trusts, firewood suppliers in Central Mass, Fitchburg‘s Steam Line Trail, check out the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail, Westminster‘s Town Crier podcast update, last month’s most popular story was about Lilac Hedge Farm so we get that one on repeat, I made chicken satay and outdid myself with its deliciousness, Jay‘s best story ever with his retelling of his 2012 adventures trick-or-treating on Bacon Street without me, where to go trick-or-treating in the area, senior real estate tax work off programs in Central Mass and as usual – – so much more!
